SMT records and verifies payments; it does not move funds. Payment instructions provide bank details and a reference; a payment is confirmed only after independent verification.

No card numbers, CVV, or provider credentials are stored by SMT. Payment provider integrations use tokenized/provider-hosted flows.

Refunds and payouts follow the finance workflow with authorized approval; nothing is marked refunded/paid until confirmed.
